INTERNATIONAL: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Thursday has said Ukraine and Russia could find a way out of the war if the Kremlin has treated Ukraine on an equal footing and came to talks with a will to negotiate in good faith.
The invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces has spurred Europe’s worst security crisis in decades.
Early evidence suggests that this war is turning in the West’s favor for three reasons. The raw aggression of the Russian invasion and the spirited Ukrainian resistance have inspired popular support for Ukraine across Europe. But on the side of justice.
He has added, there are things in which some compromises must be found so that people do not die, but there are things in which there are no compromises.
